LRGS won the Royal Society of Biology Quiz 2026 yesterday hosted at the University of Lancashire.

Teams worked together on a series of 10 biological challenges on a range of topics in the laboratories, with activities set by Wyre Rivers Trust, Sealife Centre, Marine Conservation and many more in a fun 'Crystal Maze' style format.

They came first out of 16 schools and represented the school exceptionally!

They won a microscope for the biology department and books for themselves. Well done to Umar, Arslan, Lily and Thea!
