Charity fundraising in the Lent Term is one of the great features of the school! This year we are raising money for North West Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK, British Red Cross, Team Reece and Money for Madagascar.

Pupils and staff bring huge energy and creativity to the challenge. It is a visible expression of our school motto and the value of service – local, national, global. We are aiming to raise over £20,000 this year. 

Current efforts range from shoe polishing and cake sales to the Mega Raffle; paper aeroplane and comedy contests;  OddBalls bobble hats (this year in tasteful yellow); Auction, Six Nations fantasy league and Three Peaks sponsored walk; Name the Minibus – and much more! The Set Run at the end of this term is another sponsorship focus. Thank you to pupils, staff, families and friends for your support for the Lenten Charities!
