We are very pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Personal Finance Programme’, a two year project to produce and pilot test a modular curriculum on personal finance for young people.
The project is an Erasmus+ EU funded initiative with a partnership of LRGS and four other organisations including; Lancaster based education research organisation DHE Solutions, IESS an independent school from Reggio Emelia in Italy, The University High School from Tampere, Finland and Emphasys, an ICT research institution from Cyprus.
The project was launched with a very successful meeting last week where partners met and presented their organisations and where discussions focussed on the research required to determine the content of the curriculum. It was agreed that involvement of young people at various stages of the project development was essential.
By the end of the meeting, all participants were fired up with many ideas, and all looked forward to working together, and making the project a great success.
