Best Cadets in the North West

Army Cadets from Lancaster Royal Grammar School are officially the best cadet shots in the North West of England.

The Army section of the CCF (Combined Cadet Force) won the 42 North West Infantry Brigade Cadet Skill at Arms Meeting held at Altcar range complex last weekend.

All schools with a CCF were invited to send teams as were all ACF units from Manchester and Liverpool, up to Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Well over 30 teams took part. As well as winning the entire competition the team of Jonathan White, Marcus Blackett-Ord, Nathan Dalton and Tom Nicholls also won the Defence Match as well as the Attack and Reorg cups. Tom Nicholls was the best individual shot in both cups as well the best individual shot in the entire competition.
