    East Lancs Old Lancastrians Dinner

     

    The Annual Dinner for Old Lancastrians in East Lancs and the surrounding area will take place on Friday 26 April in the Oak Room at The Alma Inn, Laneshawbridge, Colne, BB8 7EG at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.  Dress will be smart casual tie optional.  The price for the meal will be £33 (without cheeseboard) or £39 (with chesseboard).     Starters

    Seasonal soup, Bread and butter

    Haddock Goujons, Tartar sauce and Lemon

    Baked Goats Cheese, caramelised onion, sunflower seeds, honey and balsamic with toasted bloomer (V) (GFO)

    Chorizo scotch Egg, Rocket and Basil Pesto

    Mains

    Battered Haddock, chunky chips, mushy peas and Tartar Sauce (GFO)

    Pot Pie, Chicken, leek and Ham Hock with Chips and Seasonal Greens

    Funghi Fusilli, porcini Mushrooms, white wine sauce, Rosemary truffle sourdough Crumb (V) (GFO)

    Persian Spiced Chicken, Jewelled rice, Rose petal Harissa, Lemon Yogurt, Almonds (GF)

    Tea and Coffee Station and sole use of the Oak Room

    You can also choose to finish the meal with a cheesboard, please note that this attracts a £6 supplement.
