If you want to study A-levels in depth, in a challenging environment, then Sixth Form at LRGS could well be the right choice for you.  We have a flourishing Sixth Form of 350 students, many of whom have  been with us since First Year, but we are also joined by up to 50 new students every year, who come from schools in Lancashire, Cumbria and further afield.  Many join us as boarders.

Our Sixth Form students consistently attain a  high level of academic achievement, with the vast majority going on to university.  However, we know that there is far more to education that sitting in the classroom.  We offer a wide range of sport and extra curricular activities, we will support you in your application for university and give you careers advice to help prepare you for the future.  This includes the Life course, which introduces key skills needed for the workplace - leadership, team-working and communication - and a popular two-day management-style training event with Lancaster Girls' Grammar School.
