Fanfare for the Jubilee
A nine-strong LRGS brass ensemble will be taking part in Lancaster’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, when they play the Regal Fanfare from the top of St Peter’s Cathedral bell tower on Monday 4 June.
The musicians will play the fanfare to herald the start of the peal of bells that will be rung out from the Cathedral at 3pm. We hope some of you may be able to join them for this memorable celebration.
The ensemble includes Ewan Gilliat on trombone, Josh Dawson on tenor horn and Oscar Lingard on cornet.
