Breaking News: LRGS boarding is 'Outstanding'

We are delighted to report that this week's inspection of LRGS boarding by Ofsted found LRGS 'outstanding' in all seven categories.

The inspectors praised the staff and pupils for their openness and said it was a very positive inspection.  They noted that the boys were very proud of their boarding houses, that the education of the 'whole child' was very impressive and that there was a 'heartwarming' atmosphere to boarding at LRGS.

The full written report will follow shortly, but we can reveal that the school was graded 'outstanding' in all areas, including Being Healthy, Staying Safe and Achievement. 

More details of the inspection will follow once we have received the written report.  Headmaster Andrew Jarman said: "Congratulations to the Head of Boarding, Ian Whitehouse, the housemasters and the great range of staff who do so much to make the boarding experience so 'heartwarming'.  My thanks to you all."
