Pursuing the dream

To Stourbridge in the West Midlands today for the two day State Boarding Schools Association (SBSA) annual conference.  Hosted this year by Old Swinford Hospital (OSH) this is always a welcome opportunity to swap idas and experience with staff from all 38 schools offering state boarding.  We are a pretty diverse bunch, but the contract of care is identical and it is always good to discuss best practice.

One of the highlights was a  presentation from actor Nicholas Bailey who explained how OSH had given him the confidence to pursue his dream, despite the precariousness of the acting profession.  Heartwarming stuff!
