Food for thought

A second day of strike action, this time including some of the support staff.  A particular concern today was how to feed the boarders - clearly there is not an option of closing the school for them for the day.

I'm hugely grateful to the Catering Manager John Howe and the impromptu team of teaching staff who rolled up their sleeves to serve and wash up. Thanks to them, we were able to supply a full breakfast and lunch service, with some takeaways substituting for supper.  The contract of care was never more evident.
