East Lancs 2013 Report
There was a return to the Higher Trapp Hotel, Simonstone, on Friday 26th April. Andrew Clark made a heroic return from Vietnam to take his place hosting the event as the familiar crowd of OLs assembled.
Once again, the Higher Trapp put on an excellent meal which was enjoyed by all in attendance. The ‘two minute limit’ was raised to five this year to allow for the introduction of Dr Chris Pyle to East Lancs, and for Brian Ashton to delight the audience with tales from his school days. They may have gone a minute or two over the allotted time but somehow managed to avoid the bread roll treatment!
After the short formalities, Andrew Clark wished the new Head well in his role at the school, and the OLs reconvened at the bar.
